Roasted Chickpeas
Description
Roasted chickpeas are poor in fats, while they are a good source of protein and carbohydrates. It is impressive that 2 handfuls of chick peas equal to 1 portion of lean meat or 1 portion of pasta! They contain also fiber and they have an advantage compared to other nuts, in vitamin A and b-carotene, which are important for the cells’ regeneration process. They are also very rich in vitamin K and C.
