Description
The Buckthorn contains more than 190 phytonutrients, which are substances that reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and specific cancer forms. The Buckthorn fruit has high content of vitamin C (114-1550 mg per 100 gr). It is also rich in carotenoids, vitamin E, amino acids, minerals, beta sitosterol polyphenolic acids. Finally, Buckthorn contains ω-3 (omega-3), ω-6, ω-9 and the rare ω-7.
